Start with a positive attitude. Before you go on an interview or send in a resume, take 5 minutes and write down someone, something or somewhere that you are grateful for. This will put you in a positive frame of mind and be ready for good things to come into your career life.
Make sure that you are always prepared to have a discussion about salary and compensation with an interviewer! Even if you are having a phone interview, be sure to do some research, know your salary history and have a solid plan for what you want to communicate about what salary you are looking for.
Too often people are stuck in old patterns and ways of thinking and this affects their job search, attempts at networking and finding their dream job.
